Coach Kevin Jaffe

  • Positions: Attack and Midfield

  • College: Manhattan University

I have always had a passion for giving back to the lacrosse community anyway I can. I started coaching my junior year of high school and have fallen in love with it ever since. I always had a few mentors in lacrosse from when I was young up until high school who dedicated a lot of time to my game so I believed it was only right to do the same in return. I love to help develop and coach the youth and teach them lessons and skills I wish I knew earlier. When I coach, I pride myself in giving 100% of my energy and focus into my players, while also having a fun time doing it. I believe in finding a good balance of working really hard, while also enjoying the game and having fun with what you are doing. My favorite part of coaching is building relationships with every single one of my players and help them thrive not only on the field, but most importantly off the field and how they approach any task in life. I truly believe that a major part of coaching is building a connection with your players and letting them have full trust and belief in what you are teaching them. I always teach "what you put in, is what you will get out" and lacrosse is a game that will give back to you if you sacrifice and put in the time and effort. I played high school lacrosse and football at St.Joseph Regional in Montvale. I earned All State, All County and All League honors my junior and senior year for lacrosse. I played Division 1 lacrosse at Manhattan College where I got my bachelors in Business '23 and Masters in Organizational Leadership '24. I was on the MAAC All Academic Team and received the 2024 Manhattan College Male Unsung Hero award. We also won the MAAC Conference Championship my junior year in 2022. I finished Grad School in June and now work full time at CFS, a private wealth management firm in Paramus and continue to coach in my free time!
