SCHEDULE PRIVATE FACEOFF TRAINING

We actually teach the boys! Most faceoff programs the coach walks around blowing a whistle. We specialize in Faceoff Midfielders. We believe the face-off is much more than just the draw.
Beyond our hands on technical approach to faceoffs we also train the midfield position.

What good is a faceoff player who can win the faceoff draw but not pick up the ground ball and transition it to offense?

Our sessions include offensive midfield and faceoffs!

Faceoffs: Proper stance to fire out; perfecting the clamp, rake, and counters with various exits; hand speed reaction time; creating fast breaks; & post-draw ground ball/wing play best practices.

Midfield: Ground balls, body positioning and boxing out, transition & fast breaks, pushing the tempo on offense.

Coach Dario Sirni

  • Positions: Faceoff and Midfield
  • College: Montclair State University

Dario Sirni is a former D3 face-off specialist from Montclair State University. Dario has played against, and coached with the highest level in this sport, and ever since graduating he has been giving back all he has learned to coach the younger generation. He is a strong believer that no other position on the lacrosse field is as important as the faceoff man, so passion and pride comes every part of Dario's coaching ability. Face-offs can be seen as organized chaos to outsiders, but Dario has it boiled down to a science and is nothing short of enthusiasm when teaching his craft to others.

As a student-athlete at Wayne Hills High School, Dario awarded himself: Captain, 3x First Team All-Passaic County, 3x First Team All-Conference, 3x First Team All-League, 2018 First Team All-State (First Wayne Hills Lacrosse Player to receive All-State Awards), 2018 Curcio Division Player of the Year, Honorable mention All-American, 2018 Wayne Hills Lacrosse Team MVP, Holds the NJ Interscholastic Record for Faceoffs won in 3 games (48-for-50), and last but not least Dario holds the Wayne Hills Single Season (232) & Career Faceoffs Won (600+) Record.
